We're hiring our first dedicated panel design engineer. Early hire, high ownership, no bureaucracy.

What You'll Own

You are the design function. Every panel that ships from Blitzpanel goes through your hands first.

• Electrical design of industrial control panels to UL508A standards — schematics, layouts, BOMs
• EPLAN is our primary tool. You'll live in it.
• Translate customer specs and single-lines into buildable, code-compliant panel packages
• Work directly with customers when design questions come up. No layers between you and the work.
• Assist with quoting — review incoming specs, help estimate scope, BOMs, and engineering hours
• Flag problems early. If a spec doesn't make sense, say so before it becomes a build issue.

What We Need

• Experience designing industrial control panels to UL508A
• Proficiency in EPLAN. AutoCAD Electrical is a strong secondary.
• You can look at a set of customer requirements and produce a complete, buildable design package without hand-holding
• Comfort working with 480VAC power distribution and low-voltage control circuits
• You understand what it takes to get a panel through inspection

Nice to Have

• Experience with UL698A (hazardous locations)
