What you’ll do

• Build and own our internal automation stack: quote → BOM → drawings → build packet
• Own our in-house CAD solution:

• Integrate across systems: CAD exports, part libraries, pricing, quoting, work instructions
• Build simple, fast UI that operators/designers actually enjoy using
• Work directly with founder and shop to iterate quickly based on reality
• Build hardware interfaces to machine tools
• Use AI tools aggressively to move 3–10x faster

Technical requirements

• Comfortable building full-stack software
• Strong in React, Typescript, and Python
• Comfortable with systems / performance work when needed (C++ is a plus)
• Can work with messy data and imperfect inputs

Note: If there’s a better tech stack for this work, you can implement it! As a founding engineer, you can steer the company in what you believe is best.

Education (flexible)

• CS / CE / SE or another comparable engineering degree.
• Strong portfolio and shipped work beats credentials.
